Bill Hoffman for Congress Campaign Committee
Volunteer
The Bill Hoffman for Congress Campaign Committee is seeking highly
motivated, energetic and passionate individuals for our volunteer team.
Bill Hoffman's family hails from Seattle for the past 5 generations. He
is a lifelong Democrat and is opposing Congressman Jim McDermott for the
7th Congressional District seat in the August 2010 primary. Bill's
liberal stances on abortion, health care, and evolution make him a
strong Democrat, but he also believes in a strong U.S. commitment to
Israel.
Candidates should be interested in politics and civic engagement as a
personal endeavor. Volunteers will work with staff members on a daily
basis, perform phone banks and canvassing, and represent the
campaign at local events and meetings. Volunteers with a proclivity
toward media, design, or research will be given additional duties and
responsibilities as well. A minimum of 5 hours each week is appreciated from each
volunteer. Schedules can be flexible.
The campaign is looking for volunteers in a variety of areas, including new
media. Check out the campaign on
Facebook under the Notes section for more information.
